SPK branch 20 launches online Digital Archives
As a heritage organization, one of SPK’s main priorities is safeguarding our fragile archival materials – photos, bulletins, audio and film recordings – before they are lost to time. Today, we are proud to share the next step forward with the launch of the SPK Branch 20 Digital Archives.
So far, we have scanned and preserved about 500 historical photos, organizing them into galleries that you can easily browse online. Clicking on any image will let you view it in full detail.

However, preserving the images is only the first step; we also want to preserve the stories. If you are browsing through the galleries and recognize anyone in the photographs, please drop us a note at museum@spk20.ca. Identifying these faces is incredibly important for keeping alive the memory of our veterans.
As well, if you have SPK-related photos in your family collections and would like them preserved, we would be happy to digitize and add them to the archive.
